Climate

The climate in the area of Toul is continental, with warm humid summers and cold dry winters.
Late frost can cause damage to the vines at the time of blossoming, and in summer storms can harm the grapes when they are ripening. The hills of the Meuse area protect the vineyard from the prevailing winds that come from the west bearing much rain.
